I was recommended here by my herbalist friend. We are folks who have been to many different healing practices so when she recommended Dr Sarah, I saw it through. Very lovely establishment. You'll walk in to soothing aromas and sounds. Someone greeted me (i think the other practitioner) to say Dr Sarah would be right with me. As I waited I browsed and read some of the material on acupuncture ans other modalities. Once she was finished with her laat session she welcomed me with some tea, and to complete the intake form. Once I was done, she drew me a hot foot soak and a mechanical shoulder massage, while we discussed my care. While there she put some points in to get things moving. After enjoying the length of the timed massager, she dried my feet and took me back to the private session room. After evaluating my pulses she began with a few points to unblock a merridian and then proceeded with points along the whole of my front. She added some warm stones to my ovaries while I lay on the warmed table. It was very cozy and comfortable, she let me process for about 20-30min. I could here her amongst her other patients, but it did not feel disruptive. I still felt tended to as she gave me a bell to ring if I needed anything before she came back. She then removed the points and did some gua sha on my back with some oil. Our session was complete and she invited me to do a childs pose until I was ready to come out. Feeling restored and revitalized, I came out. I so appreciate her providing a sliding scale making this accessible for me. As a SHM, we work with a budget and this is definitely a way I can continue to invest my health. Looking forward to going back to continue my care plan!
